01 / Context

Financial advisers used a vendor platform for communications. The work combined supporting the existing solution with developing the company's own platform.

02 / My role

As CTO, I set the platform's product and technology strategy. I was responsible for the funding business case, building the team and organising development.

03 / What I did

Built the business case and secured approval for an investment budget to develop an in-house chat platform.
Built a team of developers, analysts, QA specialists and DevOps engineers.
Restructured the working relationship with CraftTalk and stabilised support for the existing solution.
Organised platform development and the introduction of CI/CD practices, monitoring and error alerts.

04 / Outcome

An investment budget of more than RUB 70 million was approved. The team was formed and development of BCS's in-house communications platform was organised.
